Love the little bird, too, and the face of the thinking soul. The bird looks to the fish, the soul looks far away. I don't know, what happened to the fish and what will happen. Perhaps nobody knows? Is the soul the bird and the fish?
There's a feeling of folk tales here and symbolic imagery. It inspires stories. It's also a bit eerie, especially the close-up on the fish with its staring eyes (something about them are echoed in the girl's eyes as well).
