I have often thought of Chagall while viewing German Artist, Dori Stuffer's paintings.
The incredible color, the dreamlike quality,
the visions that tell a story.
(Could this be Dori's Bavarian Forest the angel flies above that Marc Chagall has painted?)
Oh YES! Me, too, and I've also thought about Barbara's work as well as having some hints of Chagall. I feel blessed to know of you, Dori and Barbara's work. So full of depth and beauty and spirit :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, princess of the forest over the ocean!
DeleteThank you Valerianna, you are so kind hearted.

Delete"princess of the forest over the ocean"... hehe
DeleteWhat a beautiful post. Marc Chagall is one of my favorite painters - and yes, your friend Dori's work has that same wonderful dreamy quality.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these images. I may be back to look . . .
I also see Chagall in your work too Judy. Uplifting and joyful and an amazing color palette.
DeleteI just see love and beauty here and I forget who is who :))) but it is so good to see also your gentle dreamlike face there, Ramona!
ReplyDeleteHallo Valerianna, I'm so happy seeing your new drawings!!! Light and blessings of new spring! Love! Barbara
I agree, the work flows together so well. Two artists on the similar frequency. Yes you noticed I am there full of wonder and awe.
DeleteHallo, Barbara >^;^<

ReplyDeleteDear Ramona, this is such a beautiful song - and I am allowed to sing with... I fall on my knees and feel very humble and full of honor to fly with these colors. Its not me, this I feel, and I recognize, that we have to respond with big respect to our talents.
Wonderful compostion, Ramona, artist and friend from the grace of God.
You are very deserving of praise for your talents.
DeleteDid you see the Chagall angel flying over your Bavarian trees?? EXTRANO
DeleteOH! NOW I see! You show me so much, sister in art!
Deletehow lovely that you have honored Dori and Marc this way!
ReplyDeleteI can see how you found a similar spirit in these two. Such charming and delightful art. Thank you for sharing.
I'm glad you see this too Tammie. Sometimes I want to use colors in this way..but..I think I my hand chooses melancholy colors more often.
