Images from the weekend.




One morning I recognized a bird call that hasn't been heard all winter and
I looked up to see this handsome fellow. Click to hear his song.

Such a sleek, sturdy bird they are, and in the light they wear 
the colors of a rainbow.

    Thanks Barb and Nan! Yes this bird is a sign of spring around these parts, but lady spring is taking her sweet time getting here.:)

    Ramona, when I had a walk this noon with Timmi Dog, I heard some voices of birds in the nature and thought: Ahh...Ramona is waking up now in the early morning of far-away-near!
